The Companion toolbar icon shows the health of your Mission session with four states.
No badge means idle: you are connected to Calder and no Mission is active. A green check mark means ready: the active Mission is authenticated and armed, or its evidence is ready to verify. An orange exclamation means attention is needed: the Mission is preparing, waiting for its LinkedIn target, or a pre-existing engagement cannot count as new evidence. A red exclamation means blocked: either you are not connected to Calder or you are not signed in to LinkedIn.
The states are checked in that priority order, so a red state always wins over green, orange or idle.
Hovering the icon shows a localized tooltip, for example Calder Mission Companion — Ready — active Mission is healthy. The tooltip text and the badge are localized in English, Arabic, French, German and Swedish.
Click the icon to open the Companion panel, which shows the active Mission, its progress and the same connection details.
